Lady Slonya is a beauty & the material in her dress matches that in Gentleman Slon's suit! That's clever. Maybe they could even be going to a costume party.

The texture for the collar and cuffs that originally came with this texture set for the outfit was black and gold, but of a different design, so that's what gave me the idea to just apply the same material to the collar and cuff that I was using on her dress. (But you probably worked that out already!) One of these days I'll try converting more outfits for Slonya, so she can be "period appropriate," but I love this skin texture for her, so I'm glad I didn't cover it up too much!

Thanks so much for the comment! All this stuff for Slon is free, so you can have it too, if you'd like :-) The hair on Slonya isn't free, but it was made for V4, not Slon, and I'm sure you have a V4 hair that would work on this figure!

I'd happily buy them, but I know the sales would never match those for G8 clothing. But they'd be so much more fun to make, without having to fuss with all those bazillion morphs and such!

I would agree that the earth-tone textures of the clothing that the Slons are wearing if very much of the Steampunk genre and something I certainly enjoy. I love their skin textures, especially hers! That Victorian Park set from BlueTreeStudios is something that have been interested in using for a long time. Nice to see it here as an excellent background. =)

Thanks for the comment, Molly! A lot of the materials from parrotdolphin's Dirty Pretty collection have a steampunk vibe, which is something I enjoy as well! Those skin textures by Wayii are pretty nice, esp. considering how old they are. I definitely want to use more of them in future scenes. There's a surprising amount of free content for Slon, which means he'll be showing up again in other kinds of situations :-) As for the Victorian Park set, I got it on sale years ago but haven't used it for various reasons, and I only used it here b/c I was planning to enable DOF.
