Description
During a walk in our village I met this farmer, and we had a chat.
What I know now is: that his name is Mr. Gemini, he weeds between the sugar beets, and the land is way too dry. ;-)

Wonderful portrait!
A very straight-forward, "honest" photo. It's hard to explain why I say "honest": I mean that you show the man directly, honestly, it's a very 'real' photo. And such a stark background: That ground really IS dry! (We've had droughts in the American West for several years now. I hope the Netherlands aren't getting droughts too. That's amazing soil.)
With all that land behind him, he has a big job ahead of him. A stark, honest shot: I like that man already, and I never even met him...bold, simple photography.
