Beautiful! She's more than a suitable substitute for any "May the 4th" image. My thoughts and hopes are with you in your battle to defeat your depression! Having suffered a bout of it myself some years ago, I know how debilitating it can be. I was fortunate to have a school psychologist as a neighbor then and she recognized the signs and helped me through it. I was unemployed at the time, which is what triggered it, and as I remember she told me to find something to motivate me, which is how I started with computer graphics. Finding sites like Renderosity with the support and friendship shown me by the other members here is what pulled me through. I hope you find similar comfort in our thoughts and hopes! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

If she got a heavy tan, she'd be a dark alley...(my jokes suck right now, sorry...) Fetching pose, part inviting/part daring, and part shy, and she's placed in front of that car like a professional model (and you, a professional photographer). Love the blue and purple on her---in a photo of mostly greens, browns and that dark silver car (w/ a touch of olive). And a slightly daring gaze on her---your poses show a lot of photographic sensibility, the kinds of poses you see in pro studio shoots. I also like that the car is angled across the walkway: nice counterpoint. Another pro portrait from you. It takes time for meds to work their spells, it's understandable that you're still getting there. You will, Rod, I know you will, but I'm glad you're taking it easy in the meantime, and I hope you feel better each day. As for the world, it doesn't look like it's gonna change...the light in you will always be there though, along with the love and gratitude you deservedly get in return. Take care and rest!
