The Girls' sign says it all. I wanted to do a special dedication for all my pals here at Renderosity. Thank you all so much for your awesome support over the years! And especially now as I continue to work my way through this stubborn bout of depression. As the song by the late John Denver says: Some days are diamonds, some days are stones Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones Some days are diamonds, some days are stones And so they are. Today is a stone day, yesterday was diamond. Hopefully the diamonds will soon outnumber the stones by a wider margin. I am determined to make it so - and with the encouragement and support I've received from you all, I'll kick it's butt! Guaranteed. We're looking into a number of alternatives with getting out of this house / area ASAP. They found a guy DOA on the sidewalk less than a mile from our house yesterday. He had several bullet holes in him. Independence used to be a decent place to live - not so much now. Anyway, we may be looking into some of the 'retirement communities' around the area. Right now the idea of someone else doing all the yard work and maintenance sound pretty good to both Jo and me. Neither one of us is getting any younger. And yes, I am still working on the next TNA page. It's been a slow process, but it will be done soon, I promise! Again, THANK YOU for all your awesome support! Rod's Lair Official Girls From T.N.A. Let's hope you get out of there soon. I've lived in some rough places in my younger days, so I know how you feel with the crime. Everything seems to be falling apart.

god, have I really been gone that long? I've missed 3 of your images? I saw them, but I didn't comment...ok, to catch up...First, I hope that Jo's brother is ok, and doing better...I"m very sorry that happened in addition to everything else. I hope he's recovering fully. Second, you can see how loved you are by all the people rooting for you! I hope your thoughts of leaving---for a possible retirement community---works out as fully as it can, and with as little struggle as possible. At our age (I'm 73), not doing everything oneself is a boon...true, we wanna keep active, but SOME active is a pain in the butt. Having others do that stuff can be a real plus...Plus, you've done 20 people's share in the last several years, so you deserve a break! I wish you everything in the world with moving.

Re the image: I love the juxtaposition of that slab of rocks (looks like a photo of a beach), held up by 3 of your best heroines. Your background fits the 'stone' theme perfectly (a really cool looking park area...with rusticated stone!) I love the outfits, and the great mix of colors; and you mix model and photo really well, Rod; it illustrates your text beautifully. A beautiful job; you used the front of your photo perfectly for your 3 stars. A beautiful thank you, but you deserve the love you've gotten.

And thank you so much, once again, for your wonderful comments, Rod: They are so kind and caring, and I appreciate every one. They're a great gift...thank you.

Prayers as you continue your journey thru recovery

I feel it for you. Jeez, I must live in your hood. Same thing here. A dead banger on the corner of my street 3 weeks back. About 2 blocks from here.

You hang in there and try to keep it all screwed together as best you can ....
