Description
In the year 3512, New Rand, located roughly 74 parsecs from Earth, is a very rich star system. The asteroid mining boom has been going strong for over 100 years, with no sign of slowing down. There are no habitable planets at New Rand; the 1,600,000,000 inhabitants live in thousands of habitats constructed from hollowed-out asteroids.
Annika is a lab tech in one of those asteroid habitats, working to improve the productivity of the colony's hydroponic gardens.
