Geez, I don't think I have ever attempted to put this many figures in a scene, and I know I wouldn't be successful if I did. It takes a lot of skill to do it, but then to masterfully involve each into the story seamlessly... that's something else. Wonderful illustration! :)

Lovely scene of a spring house party with everyone enjoying the refined pleasures of tea and croquet (and champagne)! As usual with your work, this one is definitely worth viewing in full size, to take in all the details and interactions between characters. All of it serves as such a nice backdrop to the scene of the one man helping the other one learn how to swing a mallet, which is clearly just an excuse to be close to him, leaving them both in their own little world :-) Nice grass, too!

Wonderful scene with a lot of characters, definitely a pleasure to look at on a large screen. And not only did you manage to add all these characters and give them natural poses, you also gave each and every one of them a good, realistic expression. That is not an easy feat (I often see scenes with just one or two characters and they have the mannequin pose). But most of all I like the expression of the man learning to swing...if you blink you'll miss it, but there is a slight smirk there that makes me think he has something else on his mind. Who knows, he might even know how to play already.
