Description
"I feel silly," Molly muttered under her breath.
"Hush!" Her lovely English friend admonished. "Do your best to look mysterious, sexy and dangerous. Just follow my lead," Penny directed in her refined English accent.
"I don't see how this will get us more cases," Molly murmured while trying to look mysterious, sexy and dangerous.
"Trust me. When we put out the ads featuring this picture we'll get loads of clients!"
Molly sighed and did as she was told as the photographer snapped what seemed to be an endless series of photographs.
Molly's art notes: This is an example of some of my earlier work. This was set up and rendered with Poser Pro 11 using the good ol' Firefly rendering engine about 6 years ago. It's part of a long-running comic book style series I have up at Deviant Art (over a hundred pages now >.<). Penny and Molly are both based on Victoria 4 and all that they wear and that you can see was legally acquired and if you want copies for your Poser or DAZ Studio library ask and I will direct you to the appropriate vendor to purchase your own copy. Our characters were developed during role playing fun in Second Life and only vaguely resemble the people we really are (certainly true in the case of me XD ).

lol, I really get a kick out of your dialogues Mollz! Lovely portrait of these 2 mysterious, sexy, dangerous detectives. I have promised myself that as soon as I am caught up with work things I will dedicate some time to your stories, you have such a wild imagination and I know they must be amazing!
Thank you so much, Ruby. My work has moved through a lot of tools but I feel like settling mostly on Poser in the last 10 years is beginning to pay off. I like science fiction and mysteries but I can't bring myself not to enjoy the absurdity of a lot of classic tropes. It is so pleasing to know I'm giving you some "smilez" and "LOLz". XD
If you ever do spend time at my DA site I hope you will enjoy what you find there. I try to link my stories together in a way that permits you to follow them without getting bogged down in my other efforts which you might not care for.
Again, my gratitude for taking a moment to encourage me. I always enjoy hearing from you!

Thanks, Kellie. Penny is certainly cute (and tall... very tall! O.O ) and the Molly character, while not unattractive, is meant to appear much older and is a bit of a curmudgeon. When I met Penny in Second Life her age was meant to be a bit South of 30 and my age was around 60. We had a ball doing stories with other role players, so I have a rich source of noire silliness to draw upon.
Probably more than you ever wanted to know... XD

Wonderful character design definitely got my attention...mysterious, sexy, dangerous and a refined English accent...what more could you ask for....!!...although i don't think either of them will be running far / or after bad guys in the heels...particularly Penny in that super tight mini skirt...!!...top work, quality scene...!
Thanks, DG! As I've mentioned to others, Penny and Molly are derived from characters a lovely acquaintance and I inhabit in Second Life (although not often lately). Penny's appearance in Second Life is very much as a tall sexpot and I have always tried to make SL Molly short and a bit grumpy. Penny and a few other Second Life friends have followed my efforts to translate our role play into stories with Poser that appear at Deviant Art and have given their stamp of approval.
I suppose I share this because it's only fair that I not claim to be the sole author/artist involved when I introduce you to these two. XD

Thanks, Amy. I thought this is one of the best pictures I have for introducing these two Second Life creations. Penny, as I know her, is always a tall sexpot and I've always made SL Molly a short, grumpy curmudgeon. Translating them and the stories generated by role play from SL to Poser took a lot of my artistic time for a few years and was, I suppose, a labor of love. Hmm. Really, all my art is that... =)

Yeah, the ideas I got from playing in Second Life with Penny made for some wild stroy-telling, to be sure. I'm glad you enjoyed what (for me) is a "blast from the past". =D
