PS. According to yesterday's visit to the doctor (rheumatologist), I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis in the early stages and will have to undergo reeducation of my arms, hands and legs starting today. My herniated disc surgery was done very well (according to the last IRM) despite the advanced osteporosis. Unfortunately I have to cut back in the future, so I will only make short copy/paste comments until I feel better. I hope for your understanding, because I do not want to spend the last years of my life in a wheelchair.

Yes you mustn't over do it (I have some experience of arthritis and neuromuscular issues, so I have extra sympathy!)
Poor dog, getting the blame, when it's the bird who stole the pizza!! I'm so sorry to hear about the medical things you're going through. It's so frustrating when the body won't cooperate with letting us do the things we love, but it sounds like you're on the right track for getting some helpful physical therapy :-)
