Gorgeous violet flowers you have growing. Beautiful work my friend:)
Great shapes and colours
Jacomina---I left you a long comment on this, earlier today! It was long and detailed....and now, it's gone! I don't know what happened to it. But this has happened a few times since RR made its recent changes. I am sooooooo tired of the changes on this site...I have checked several of my comments in the last couple of days, and about 1/10th of them disappeared. ugh......
Well I don't have time to comment again, right now, but maybe I'll try later. I just wanted you to know I commented on this, I loved the image, and I spent a lot of time on it. I have no idea what happened to it...
Ok, I'll try this again. This is a wonderful abstract, Jacomina. Even in you didn't call it "New Flowers," it would still be a marvelous abstract. However, I can see the flowers:
The bottom half of your imate is a huge gathering of stems and leaves. And we can see flowers down there too. The upper half has a series of powerful stems, and big beautiful flowers on top. The stems are electric, they look like pulses of energy.
The top flowers are like fractal sunflowers---ie, they're very big, and they have a powerful 'bloom'. You use beautiful purples in the image, and beautiful pale greens---those greens make a wonderful contrast with the purples. And the lower half looks like it's divided into "panes of glass": I hope I can write this well: It's as if the lower half were made of mirrors, and you created reflections in them. This image is like a series of glass panes---like panes of stained glass. It's a wonderful abstraction of flowers and stems, and a wonderful collection of colors and forms as well. I'm always amazed how you create fractals that are both very organic and abstract at the same time. Powerful work.
