Description
She moved silently. Stalking her prey was out of her comfort zone; she favored killing at a distance in the way of the sniper.
From the Overwatch wiki:
"Amélie Guillard grew up in her family's ancestral home of Chateau Guillard. For much of her life, she was known as an accomplished ballet dancer in Paris. She was abducted by Talon. Talon completed the process of turning her into a living weapon. She was given extensive training in the covert arts, and then her physiology was altered, drastically slowing her heart, which turned her skin cold and blue and numbed her ability to experience human emotion. The slowing of her heart rate allowed her to become an exceptional sniper. Thanks to Talon's experiments Amélie was gone, replaced by "Widowmaker," Talon's most effective assassin, and feeling little save the satisfaction of a job well done."
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.757 and tweaked in Photoshop for glow and vignette. I often do simpler portrait renderings on my laptop while more complex pictures like the recent Odd Couple series render on the desk top rendering box. The figure is from --Wartech--, her weapon is by Cybertenko and the background is from DM (Time Shadows was available at DAZ; may not be anymore). What I know about Overwatch would fill a thimble, never having played the game (teh Mollz is not a gamer). I liked the character's looks and read up on her as noted above.
This is fanart as the character is owned by Blizzard Entertainment. Teh Mollz makes not one red cent.

What a cool character, and so nicely posed and lit! I was guessing it was the gun she carries that's called the "widow maker," but then I learned from your description that SHE goes by that name! Sad thing to do to a person, but makes for a cool scene!

Never having played the game I don't know for sure but I think the character is playable and favored for her weaponry and such. The back story is certainly tragic as these things often are. I bought the content knowing nothing of that but in order to decide how to set up and render a portrait of her I did my research. Thanks for the comment, Amy. I always enjoy hearing from you!

I know nothing about overwatch, but this is an amazing image, has a great narrative quality.
