Meant to be a test of an outfit and hair. Ok, ok, it was just the outfit and then I decided to try some new hair too. I had her in some long comfy socks, too, but it didn't hit quite right. And at the last moment I decided to add the piles of laundry, and now... I like it. A lot. It might be worth exploring for the cover of my latest book. Which I finished yesterday. I did the piece to celebrate. Lola is always good for cheering up - she's just so cute! Let me know what you think of the curly hair. I'm liking it myself. About the other day. I can't say that I'm very hopeful. It's Mom's birthday today, and neither brother is going to show up. The eye doctor called her to tell her that the vision loss she's experiencing is permanent. I'm supposed to be resting, but there's too much to get done. I'm still trying to ask for help from the appropriate people, but I don't have my hopes up for that either. I pray daily. One thing I can say is that my faith never wavers, even when I get a little mad at God. I never curse Him. There's a reason, and while I can't say I'm rejoicing in my troubles, I am making an effort to accept them. I'll post more info about the book once it's ready to hit the market.
