A stylized portrait of my Yanmei character from the Far East with jade embellished jewelry.

This is a simple yet elegant portrait of my Yanmei for La Femme character (who is currently available at Renderosity!) that began as one of my promos for her and now I’ve developed it into this full, finished portrait. One of the main reasons I was first intrigued by the concept of the Superfly render engine back when it was announced, was that it could render realistic jade. Now, I’ve finally found yet another excuse to render some realistic jade in Superfly! I had to do some touch-up painting with her hair in some spots and decided to run the render through Lightroom to enhance the color/contrast. I’m mostly happy with how this portrait turned out.

Thank you!! I haven't seen you around in a while; good to see you here! :) I love the jade too, took me a while to get it looking right but it was definitely worth it. I used VinceBagna's old super shaders as a springboard to start from.
Wow! This is just stunning, Lizzie! She's gorgeous (and now in my wish-list), and that jade really looks great. I haven't played around much with Superfly - too many irons in too small a fire - but I do want to do some fiddling with it soon.

Aww, thank you, Rod! Glad to hear you like my Yanmei too! It took me a long time to get used to Superfly but now that I've gotten used to it, I can't stop using it and use it exclusively! If you ever need help with it, I'm just a message away. :)
