"I don't see why we couldn't have made this picture in your studio, Molly," Penny complained. "Brrr! It's bloody cold out here and my cute little feet are freezing!"
"Shush!" I replied. "I'm ready, now look really pretty and saintly!"
"So... Did Saint Lucy really wear a gown with so much cleavage revealed," Penny muttered. "A fur collar would be best!"
"Penny, PLEASE!"
If you know EnglishDamsel you will not be surprised to see that the picture came out beautifully and she is a lovely, sexy version of Santa Lucia.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.757 using Superfly Cycles 2 and tweaked a bit in Photoshop. Penny is based on the V4 mesh with a character set up by my husband years ago and tweaked to render better in current software by myself. The gown is by Nerd3D. The forest and snow is by Flink. The bonfire is from an -Applejack- product and out of place in a Scandinavian forest. XD
I'm a bit late for Saint Lucy's day which is celebrated on December 13th in the West.
Penny is my best friend in Second Life. This picture is inspired by her Second Life representation of Saint Lucy which can be found at her Deviant Art site.

I struggled with trying to show melting snow around the fire and finally decided I was getting to deep down the rabbit hole and stopped. I'm delighted that you found the image interesting enough to comment on, my dear!

I love the lighting in this one! How/where did you get the fire?
Thank you! The fire is taken from the product "Romantic Beach Gazebo" by -Applejack-. I often wind up kitbashing and using only one object or bit of a product mixed with may others for my composition. I did modify the root node for the flames from a Poser Root node to a Physical Root node and plug into and the emissions node within that root to throw more light than you would easily get from the ambient node in the Poser root. I expect it would work nearly as well if I had not messed with it, though! XD
