Our ranks continue to growā¦ With the darkness that continues to envelop our planet, we need all the skill and muscle we can musterā¦
I just about went insane (more than I already am) hand painting all those tire tracks in the sand. And sheās just stepped out of the buggy, so no boot tracks. Yet.
Iām sure many of you remember Robotoko from our friend Rhanagaz several years ago. Before he left, he sent me his list of Robotokoās morphs so I could recreate her. I canāt think of a better way to keep his memory alive than to add Robotoko to the team.
You might also remember her little friend ā the little gecko guy named Te Und. Wonder what happened to him? Hummmmmā¦
You might also remember G4 and Ar encountering a little gecko guy several chapters ago. Havenāt seen him for a couple chapters.. Hummmmmā¦..

Robotokoās weapon is one of those still in the development stage. Sheās checking it out and doing some beta testing in the field. It should be available soon.. For the good guys only, of course..
The original Robotokoās hair was actually the combination of 2 hair props ā and while it worked, it was a bit clumsy to maneuver for different poses, or wind effects. Iāll probably try a few more hairs before I settle on one, but for now this one looks pretty good on her.

She looks like an excellent character and motived individual to take on the evil forces overrunning our planet currently! Marvelous image, Rod! Most excellent results! You have a lot more patience than I have. I would have just found a tire track with a google search and layered it into the picture with a little adjustments to the opacity. But that is just lazy old me! LOL! With the used of two hair props, did you try parenting one of the hairs to the other one? That might have helped with repositioning them. LOL.. I actually made a PS brush with little squares laid out in the same pattern as the tire treads... I had to tweak it to match the perspective of the tires then carefully paint the light and dark parts of each depression.. Lots of coffee helps! LOL I did try parenting the hair props - it helped a little, but not much... š
she is set to do some serious damage. Feel sorry for anyone on the receiving end of those toys lol

I need one of those things for camping. Add a trailer to pull some gear, or extra ammo, and it'll be complete.
Wow Rod!...this is such a great scene, specially when you describe how you went about doing the details on the tire tracks. Most would have just put the buggy and placed her in the scene and called it good enough, but that's not how you go about it, regardless of the time it takes to get the details to come out just right! I used to work like this at one time, but now I find myself taking short cuts whenever the opportunity to do so arises, due to my time constraints. You are the ultimate artist, careful to put all the finishing details into your work and not calling it done till its done and finished to your satisfaction!
Using your friends morph is a nice way to honor and remember him by...its also a great way you to highlight his accomplishments in using this character in his past work. Excellent work Rod...you are the ultimate perfectionist my friend! :-)
