Description
It's Friday! enjoy your weekend all. with my new stores they gave me i'm down to 8 to 10 hours a week now. i'm thinking about applying for SS benefits at age 64, will be 65 in may. might wait till 65. and just might quit my job if i can get a good amount of them.
thank you so very much for your kind comments on my work my dear friends. they are so highly appreciated. thank you, Steve
well after my dearest mothers visit to her doctor, her back is not getting any better. but the doctor said she no longer needs to wear her brace while being in the house, only for going out for appointments and riding in cars. she might need a injection to her spine with something to raise her spine in the damaged area or something like that. i was not with her at the doctors, my sister was. but moms happy that she no longer needs to wear it all day.

Dark character and atmo, superbly done gothic image, Steve!
Great Friday scene!
Nice scene!
Nicely done. Good (better) news from your mom.
Awesome dark gothic scene, as always excellent work dear Steve.
Sweet job have a great weekend !
Wonderful artwork!
You did a great job on this image Steve...definitely has that Gothic touch you give all your renders!
Its great news that you are considering retirement, being at that stage in your life where actual serious consideration should be taken. Perhaps after careful reevaluation you might want to do it sooner rather than later or as you say, just wait till your B-day!
The best quote I ever heard from a co-worker on his last day at work prior to retiring was..."a man's got to know when its time to go!" Those were the last words I shared with him and then he was gone! I leave you with that same though in mind Steve...you'll know when its time to go! Take care and be well my friend! :-)
It's an awesome image :) The Crow...one of my favorite all time movies. I'm glad you got some good news about your mom. And I'm sorry to hear about the job situation. We're at that age I guess where we have important decisions to make :) You will figure it out :)
She looks fantastic, Steve! You really have the touch for making these ladies look gorgeous, and just a bit mysterious / dangerous as well. She fits this atmosphere perfectly - well done!
I started collecting SS when I turned 65, and worked until 2017 when I turned 69. I just put the SS in a savings account and left it alone until I retired. Glad I did...
Really superb work!! Just remember: smiling even when you don't feel like it still gives you the same chemical boost as smiling when you do feel like it.
Hugs to you, my friend... I'm thinking happy thoughts at you.
Great character and scene!!!
Great character Steve !!! Good to hear your Mom is doing better!
Wow amazingly beautiful! Adorable character 👍🙋♂️
Fantastic work. Thanks for the update on your mother. I'm happy to hear that she no longer needs that brace all the time.
Great dark image...be brave as you always were.
Love it Steve.
beautiful character
A somewhat different Crow that I recall, but a nice one.
Considering that the age of retirement here has risen to 67, 65 sounds good and if you can afford it, go for "nearly 65". Maybe gives you some more time to look after your mum.
Splendid scene, the character is very well done, BRAVO
Lovely scene!
Superb, Steve!
Very beautiful character and outfit.... wonderful gothic scene !!
That woman is a tad scary looking :) but the crow is a bit difficult to make out against the dark grey stone pillar.
Another wonderful scene you created here, I like it a lot!
