Description

I think I posted this in my first year on RR (if I posted it at all): It's my depiction of the spirits hovering inside nature, in dark, mysterious November. (See full size if you can.) Just a musing... I'm commenting again...I'm a bit under the weather, w/ a small fever (it's about 2 inches tall, has a tail, runs around, eats my food) (see, it's 'small')---but nothing serious. I'm slow, but I'm getting to you all... I hope you all have a wonderful week; and for those of you in the States, a sweet and warm Thanksgiving. Thanks for all your visits, they're much appreciated! mark trees: nature colors: nature and the color gods sun: the sky, and a super-nova named "benji" darkness: the universe, and 3 black crayons named "buster," "dmitri" and "the Shiv" (just my cheap version of "credits"...) (the crayons, btw, were rejects from one of Wolf's tales...) ------------------

I love the credits you listed! This is exactly how autumn looks. Greens of summer turn to bright red and then the encroaching dark of winter creeps in. I love the green panel, but I'm a person of the summer, so... The rainbows in panel two are beautiful and very cheery. The bright red panel is warm and almost like a swan song because we all know darkness is next. The leaves are just about gone here, I never did see much color in my neighborhood but now I know I can blame Nature, Color Gods, and Benji.

I hope you feel better, soon. Keep an eye on that (small) fever, they can grow fast! ((hugs))

When I look at these very inspiring images, the world I meet in it seems to be 'in slow motion'. I also see that small two inches tall, shivering fever-enemy appear. The birches in the upper, they have a green, hose-like spirit. It seems to be a kind of competition struggle between them, the yellow right is more a positive spirit there.

I also see faces in both upper parts, the middle image seems to have a more powerful spirit, within the meaning of, more powerful in that competitive struggle to be engaged, as if they have called more than 1 Spirit. More colours, the dark red, the orange, very subtle, yet full of mystery.

The lower image is my big favourite. Here contact is made / laid between the spirits, earthly and heavenly, void and mighty. It almost distracted light and earthly simplicity. There is an attraction, comprises in a beautiful red, whose seduction nothing, or no one can resist.

Very, very powerful work, you're showing here, Mark.

The first one is my fave, green is also my fave color, wish you a peaceful new week!

PS. Once again so many innocent women, men and children had to die because of an insane man, who should be hung on the first tree and left to rot.

Drink lots of orange juice, or something. Stay well, and don't wear yourself out. Incredible image too.

This is just a beautiful triptych of color, form, light, and magic! And it so typifies the light you bring into our lives - and you've brought a LOT of it to my life, Mark!

I love how these wonderful images mutate from mostly greens and yellows in the top frame, into a few fall oranges and browns, then explode into a wonderful swirl of reds, pinks, and magentas with a brilliant sunburst to awaken us and get us ready for the holiday season. A real lift of light from all the gloom that seems to surround us all these days.

Take care of that "little" fever, slap it up the side of its head if it doesn't behave itself, then sit it down, wrap it in warm blankets, and pour a quart or so of orange juice down it's throat. And tell it to stay the hell outta the 'fridge! Arrogant little bugger, isn't it? šŸ˜„

Seriously, I hope you're feeling a bunch better, buddy! And Thank You again!

This is a beautiful work of art... worthy of hanging on walls of serious art collectors! I for one, would be proud to have one of these rare limited edition masterpieces, you come up with every so often!

The colors in this one are vibrant and the design resembles an amazing work of art, designated to be shared in an Abstract art only gallery. (I mean this sincerely Mark...this work is that good!) I have visited many galleries in my lifetime and have personally met with the artists that created such art at special gallery openings, and I can tell you this my friend...the work you do, could have been easily hanging on the walls of the many museums of contemporary works of art!

As this year comes to a close, I want to Let you know how much I always enjoy the time you have put into reviewing my humble short animations. I draw all my inspiration from all the amazing movies I have seen...It is in these movies done by professional directors whose productions values and vision I admire, that I often get my ideas from. These movies have had an influence in the way I do my short animations. I thank you for all the kind words you have left for me and others to read.

Take care of that little guy running around inside you and giving you so much trouble...my recommendation would be to starve that wicked 2" tall little critter and chase him away so that you can have a relaxing and comfortable Thanksgiving. May you have a pleasant and relaxing day my friend! :-)

I see you are now getting comments as long as your own. It warms my heart. šŸ„°

Naturally I like the red panel best - Iā€™m kinda stuck on red the past several years.

I know this is your first holiday season without your sister. Take good care of yourself. I have lost several family members between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The holiday season is always a delicate balancing act for me. Some years it goes very well, and some I just ride it out. So, sending fond thoughts and a bunch of digital 4x4s you can use to prop up anything that needs it, or make into Yule logs.
