Description
Hongerig altijd
open bek zonder geluid
alleen het water
dat spat
en hun mond is
één groot gat.
Always hungry
open mouth without sound
only the water
that splash
and their mouth is
one big hole.
I've translate this little kind poem, but the photo I put just for a laugh.
Yes this is a large pond full of Piranha's, the photo came out such funny, I embossed it a little bit for just a little more weird textures.
Take care, dear friends and thank you for the look.
p.s. Zoom is much better.

great shot! I love the bold colors. Well done
Could I know where this river is, I don't want to set foot in it, very nice work; Bravo.
This is such a unique and splendid photograph. Excellent work! :-)
Je hebt ze vast niet in de tuin vijver denk ik. Ze zien erg erg mooi uit zo.
Leuk gezelschap !! Mooi en kleurrijk werk Mies !!
Super photo. I couldn't resist translating. There was a movie awhile back that had to do with a leaky boat and Piranha's .
lijken wel koi karpers heb ze well eens in Artis gezien maar die waren niet zo kleurrijk als deze
Very funny idea, nice capture!
Mies, this one literally blew me away.
lol, Dave! Thank you very much.
lol... I thought goldfish...large large goldfish.
Powerful words.
Good shot:)
I love your poem, it's a little zen poem---a moment, described perfectly, and with humor. (I'm sorry i don't know Dutch well, because I'm sure it's even better in your native language.) You couldn't have picked a better photo for the poem---and it's a terrific photo! I always zoom, and this piece is great, full size. You caught the water as if it were "icing"---icing for a cake---or like glazed fish made of frozen fruit! It's an amazing shot. And their open mouths are perfect for your poem. ("and their mouth is/ one big hole"---I love that ending.) Whatever you did to this photo, it's jiggling and beaming with energy. And that "glaze" look is wonderful: It's hard to believe these are deadly piranhas, because---in your hands---they look like party decorations. A wonderful marriage of image and poem...terrific!
