Description
The tentacles and arcane devices withdrew. The being that had been Marlena sat up on the edge examination table. Alien cells and nanotechnology coursed through her blood vessels and organs as transformation completed. Most notably her eyes glowed with inhuman energy. Her face was marred with an evil grin. "I understand," she murmured breathily. "I will not fail."
Molly's art notes: A different sort of retro sci fi. This was set up and rendered with Poser 12.0.619 using the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. Marlena is based upon the La Femme mesh with texture and morph modification by Tempesta3d. The lady in the storage tube in the background is one of Blackhearted's GND enhancements of V4. The alien observers are simple characters by Coflek-Gnorg. The invader is the work of Summoner with texture modifications for compatibility with Superfly Cycles 2. The alien exam room is a legacy piece from Content Paradise and now available through RPublishing. I did a LOT of retexturing on it.

Materials bring the exam room to life. I find that I got the exam room back in Poser 7 days and haven't used it since.

As always, thanks so much for your comment, Mazzam! No doubt that the original textures are rubbish. Part of the beauty of Poser is how easy it is to "retexture" a useful mesh and give it a whole new life. I'm still kind of new to this matter of editing textures but tools like Vince Bagna's Super Shaders really help.

What a fun scene (and bizarre concept)!! Which one is the "invader" by Summoner? Surely not the little toon aliens? The aliens are adorable, and I was wondering where they come from! (Marketplace, not planet :-)
