Well, I suppose that depends on one's definition of "good," doesn't it?
This is Sushi from our Tokyo Division looking like she's ready for a night on the town - or whatever might come her way..
The background was put together in PS by me, out of several elements from the free area of Adobe Stock's site.
I'm also working on the next page in the story, and hope to get it posted soon. Things here are kind of dicey at the moment. All that work I did a few days ago did little to no good. We had about 30 minutes of heavy rain earlier today, and it seemed like the water seeped in even faster than before. Not sure where to go from this point (except somewhere else). A sump pump has been suggested a few times, and I'll be looking into that as well as a few other options. I just don't want to keep pouring $$$$$ into this place if we don't intend to spend the rest of our lives here. And we don't.
Well, enough whining. We'll figure something out...

Oh, nooo! Dang it! Having worked so hard and still not gaining a positive effect from it, is similar to a double slap in your Face. This is really a bummer. Do you have any ideas what to do next to fix it without putting in even more money?

She is a beauty all dressed in white...she will be a great addition to the team! I like TwiztidKidd's advice with the sump pump, as I have used one myself when I used to live in home with a back yard pool. Every rainy winter the empty pool would fill with water and I will quickly get rid of it with a small plugin pump like the one he describes. It works great and it just may be the way you want to go forward with this water issue! Best of luck Rod! Excellent work as always! :-)

Sorry to hear about your continued problems over there. I'd gladly take a couple inches of that excess rain you are getting for here in the Phoenix area. Mary and I were driving home from pizza today and I pointed out to here all the dead the dying vegetation in formerly beautifully green areas. So sad to see. I have even given up on our yard and it is looking to be in the same shape soon. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. I do believe that for sure!
I am so sorry to hear the work didn't solve the problem. Keep the faith. If misery loves, or at least welcomes, company, know that i just dropped a butt load off $$$ on a new Central Air System due to the lung issues I am having. I lived my whole life on Swamp Coolers and wall furnaces...and now I am commander of the Enterprise.
Good luck getting that concrete back out of there - I do think you have to so you can sump pump it.
Regarding good girls wearing white: That may depend on how you define "good." There is a precedent for that in the persons of Annette and Jannette (although they don't always wear white).
She looks good, whether she's wears white or black, she'd still look good.
So sorry to hear of the water troubles. :(
Just from what you've said, it sounds like a money pit. Get it up to code and move somewhere less stressful.
