Description
Had an idea, followed it through, and I don't regret doing so!
The beautiful Vasillisa, showing off these dforce lights and one of fefe's outfits.
Also is the Roxx hair from Wolfie. I love the surface zones it has! Quite easy to set up a rainbow hairstyle that I'm going to have to show off in a new render sometime.
Not a lot to say right now. Woke up with some excruciating pain along my radial nerve in my left arm, so typing is a chore.
Besides the string lights, I've got two spots set up emitting complementary colors.
Usually I give her a shaved hair cut, but I'm digging this style on her.
We got the bloom filter active, and I've adjusted the shutter speed to 100, and the filmspeed to 400.
Renders in about 10 minutes.

I hear ya. It's pretty weak today, but... I've had one thing after another get in the way of getting any writing done, and by golly I'm going to write today!
My sister calls them "fairy lights" and she'll use 'em year round. I kind of was going for a pride-themed render. I guess too many people just associate the lights with Christmas. Hmm. Well, I'll do another later with a more typical light set-up so we can see all the other details. She's got rainbow hair! Wooo!

Thanks! I think every character I purchased from Renderosity was done more or less on a whim. And I like each of them. I just sorta forget to render them up, since my Smart Content figure collection is so extensive.
I've got too many models... (And I don't think I've bought my last, either!)

Thank you. I wanted to adjust the lights into more of a rainbow pattern, or at least red/dark pink/pink/white. But there was no easy way to set that up. (SO MANY SURFACE NODES!) So I stuck with the default "Purple" and used my spotlights to bring more pink into the image. This meant washing out the colors in her hair, but even so. I think it turned out really nice.
I might play with the colors at another time. It's not difficult, just time consuming. And, even if I don't, I really like the image.

Back when I was shooting models (with a camera... LOL), I wanted to do something like this - preferably with a nude model - but never had the opportunity. This is great!
Now, I'm gonna have to give this a shot in Poser.... 😉
I figured I'd done enough nudes lately I'd let her have clothes on this time.
