Kinnie is sending her Fae Prayers, and she hopes you will join her and me in sending a few prayers Mike's way. I got a call from him around midnight or so from the hospital E.R. Last night, Mike suffered a stroke, and is currently spending a bit of time in the hospital. I don't know how severe it was (ANY stroke is pretty severe), but he was able to talk to me to let me know, and asked me to let everyone know what was going on. He was able to speak clearly, but he sounded very tired and exhausted. Mike is one of those lights in the darkness - not only here, but in his community as well. He works hard to make sure those less fortunate have food and comfort. May that comfort - and healing - come back to him a million times over. Thank you so much, Mike! UPDATE: 06-04-21 7:50PM CST: Good news! I just heard from Mike. He is doing well and has just been released from the hospital. The MRI and CAT scans showed no new problems. From what the doctors said, it was what's called a "psuedo-stroke" which - as I understand it - is a condition where your body somehow reverts back to the "memory" and symptoms of the actual stroke, but is not actually a new stroke. Thankfully, there were no indicators of any new stroke. Thanks to all of you that sent a prayer or well-wish Mike's way. The positive energy is real, and was felt. Thank you!
