Description
As the sun set a fog rolled in over New Babbage. Outside the dining establishment a crowd was gathering around the two waiting clanks. The crowd drew a bobby. "What's all this, then?" he demanded shining his lantern on the impassive bulk of the Guardian.
" 'E's charged wif teh safety o' teh new Guv'ner o' Darkstar oo be dinin' wivvin yon establishment," Fat Bob explained. "Bein' as we exceed teh dye-men-shuns of yon establishment's portal we awaits on teh Guv'ner 'ere."
"Is that so," the bobby, unimpressed, replied.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.500 with the Superfly Cycles 2 rendering engine. The Guardian is by Jonnte and Fat Bob by Simon3d. The bobby is based on M4 with a police uniform from Vanishing Point. The onlooker include some lo rez older figures including Loretta Lorez by P3DA from DAZ, Victoria 3 and the Poser 4 man in business suit. The scene is based on the Victorian Arcade by Blue Tree Studios.

Superb render really very nice lighting and atmosphere
Thank you for such a kind comment! I am still figuring out atmosphere/volumetrics and was looking for a foggy look here. Hopefully that's part of what caught your eye!

Thank you, my dear! As I noted in a reply above I am working with my ability to use atmosphere/volumetrics and attempting a "New Babbage pea soup" evening is part of that journey. So much for me to learn! :)
Nice foggy atmosphere and lighting! I love how Fat Bob looks a bit anxious as he explains his presence to the policeman. I'm guessing by the policeman's response that talking robots aren't too much of a surprise around these parts, but hopefully it's not a crime to wait on the sidewalk, even with such a large companion!!
Loitering is always suspicious to the constabulary no matter the era, I think. Sadly, Fat Bob is likely not a smooth enough talker to get out of the next bit, which is usually "Move along now!"
