The Shamans of the desert really know how to get down to business. They *must* live without the clutter and too-muchness of civilization. They *must* live without distractions and petty indulgences . . . to be empowered to Live at all.
They must live - every day - with Knowing - without doubt - what is necessary and what is not.
The loves and pleasures in such a Life become uncluttered, and may be treasured - to the very last drop.
Is the Shaman the humanoid . . . or the tree?

a meditation teacher once said, 'when you find openness inside, your external life can be as crowded as can be, but your insides will be as clear and open as a desert'....That comes to mind with your piece and your words. The shaman is lavishly ornamented in beautiful isobars and vibrations, but she/he is all openness and clarity inside. And what a tree that is! And a desert in the background, with primal shapes, almost like ancient cities popping out of the sand (or amorphous creatures...). With a great peach-hued sky. This is like the threshold of the edge of being...A very-layered piece with a very peaceful undertone...
