And what an ordeal our fearless gallery chief has survived. Pam: 'Omigosh It was the biggest nightmare! I was in that hospital for almost two weeks! Us: 'We came for a visit when we heard about it, you had a ruptured appendix.' Pam: 'That's right and I almost died, literally. Doctors said if I had waited much longer to come in I would have been dead' Us: 'Well we are most certainly glad you did go in for an exam and to get that taken care of. You're lookin' great! So much better than when we last saw you.' Pam: 'Omigosh I must've looked like death warmed over. I most certainly was feeling like that at the time. But since I did survive I can offer folks some advice. Don't ever mess with abdominal pain, especially if the pain is accompanied by nausea, headache and a general sense of confusion or cloudy mind. At first I thought it was just food poisoning but when symptoms didn't pass after a day I was thinking it was a flu but after several days of hoping I'd just get over it I was still not able to hold anything down and the symptoms only worsened. I let the situation with my appendix get worse over time and eventually something hadda give and my appendix burst and the toxins within it were released within my abdomen, just eating away at my insides so folks, if you experience any abdominal pain that is persistent go get it checked out before things go from bad to worse. Us: 'Wow! That is good advice. Thanks.' Pam: 'Welcome. Meanwhile I wanna say thanks for my team who helped me out in the office while I was gone and a new model has come in, such a pretty model.
