Description
Bryce 5. Barn Owl from Poser/freestuff. Grass from Bantam3D "Grass". Heavy render (15 hrs.) due to the complexity of the trees and their custom "branches for leaves" textures. Slight postwork in Photoshop.

Originally I made this render for this month's challenge, but decided that it isn't christmas-like enough for a December image.
Hope you like it, comments appreciated. Thanks for looking - and have a very nice christmas.

Incredible rendering and composition.
Awesome job. Was well worth the render time. Great job on the branches for leaves as well. Happy Holidays.
Looks like a photograph! The detail is incredible, grass is great! Perfect color balance, natural. Lighting and textures work well in the scene. My computer would have blown-up trying to render this :)
These are definitely the best looking bare-trees that I have ever seen in any 3D modeling! Congratulations.
Superb. You could have entered it in the monthly challenge anyway (the theme was December, not Christmas).
