Description
Here to show off the latest add-on for the ever-excellent Spacegirl 2020 (Bathsheba's Starstrider), we got Jennica!
This really is an excellent suit.
After letting this render overnight, I went and applied a filter that hides one background element almost completely. I like how it looks, so I'm keeping this version, but maybe I'll post the "raw" image later.
A bit of fog, and that lamp makes the scene. Just... I mean, wow! Am i right?
Big hand to Chasfh. Thanks for letting me play.

P.S. I think this is my favorite Fog prop, from "iray storm." Anybody know of others that are good?

Wonderful work and very talented too. You have done a lot of great 👍 effects. It is a real fine job my friend. The character looks great.
Thanks! I'm actually surprised with how well it turned out. Glad you like it.
cool scene, excellent
Thank you!
Wow is right! That's bloomin' awesome my friend, beautifully done scene that really packs a punch!
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you like the new bits!
Indeed. I think that lantern is going to get quite a workout, and I also think the suit itself will fit in nicely with some of the steampunk stuff I have planned. It fits in nicely here, so I think I've got to do a scene with my favorite Rocketeer in the near future. Hmmm... Kind of like Centurions, maybe... add in Spacegirl too... gets lost in possibilities
amazing work lylearyn
Thank you Brain! I hope you are doing well.
excellent scene, great light!
Thank you! 90% of the light is coming from that lantern. There's also a spotlight, but it's set very soft, just to enhance the effect of the fog and light up the backdrop just a bit.
Very nice! I think that is would be better to get that background element a bit more out.
Thanks. I'm doing a follow-up now. Because I like this filtering, and because I want to be spooky for once. Should be interesting to see how it works out. I guess this week I'm experimenting with art flow and post-work!
Amazing !
great lighting.
Thank you! I really like this lantern. I did up the luminosity a tad, but with the fog I think it just works this way, and I didn't need much from a spotlight to fill out the scene.
Nice work, a very cool image.
Thank you! That's so nice to hear!
very well.
Thanks, Okrim!
This really does have that deep-water feel to it. The dark background really adds to the feeling of being deep enough that no sunlight penetrates. And it has that spooky feel of "what else is out there?"
Superbly done!
Definitely! I got a follow-up rendering now. First time I'm actually planning for a filter, so I hope it turns out!
Wow is right! Fantastic work.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
Such a fine atmosphere here. Really lovely work!
Thank you. I like both versions, tbh. And with the follow-up, it tells a neat little story.
This is my favorite of this set. The lighting is very well done and gives an added sense of mystery I think.
Thank you. I agree! I like it a lot, myself.
very beautiful lighting, we feel the claustrophobia of the depths
Thanks. I'm just glad it turned out so nice!
