Description
Thanks for participating! Many have found the right answer, or almost: antler of a deer. But this cervid is special, since he is prehistoric: it is a Megaloceros, seen in a museum, with a little postwork!

Very fine photo and great question! Most excellent work!
Great photo!!!
LOL, the answer was almost too obvious. It's a very handsome animal...must have been very large. Off hand, do you know how tall it stood?
In the museum, it looked very big! "Largest, best known, and among the last species of the genus, about 2 m (6.6 ft) at the shoulders. Lived throughout Eurasia, from Ireland to China during the last Ice Age." (Wikipedia)
Thank you for showing the answer! That's old! Loved your take on it.
What? Not an alien hand? Great catch and it was fun guessing!
