Where are all the highs,
Why are there so many lows?
One's and zero's,
Adding all the time,
I have to hang around.
A small crack,
Might let in some light,
There's nothing,
You can do about it.
A quiet moment,
Becomes much too loud.

Charles deLint wrote a couple of books about a Canadian city house where the First Forest began intruding from the long ago past, into the present. Ancient ageless trees pushing thru floors and walls - making themselves known. It’s the old worn clock, and the idea that your character is 0 and 1 - just opens this space beyond time . . . for a powerful life to push into . . .🌳
