Conosciuto anche come croce Ansata, è una rappresentazione visiva di un cinturino di sandalo. Le barre orizzontali e verticali della croce tau inferiore rappresentano rispettivamente l’energia femminile e maschile. Questa combinazione di simboli maschili e femminili (la croce e il cerchio) nell’ ankh suggerisce fertilità e potere creativo.
