To me this is an argument against photorealism with the hood reflection washing out the rest of the scene. While real realism - viewing the scene in person, everything would be crystal clear in the shadows, too. What is the scene about anyway, the physics of reflection or the car and landscape both of which are diminished by the reflection.

Thank you!!! Yes, it could look the same in DAZ if you optimize all materials for Iray. It's not too time-consuming either, I do that with all of my superfly render. Here you find some good free iray car shader:
