Description
I was helping my goddaughter out on a project about bioluminescence, and it inspired me to update an old mermaid character I originally did in DS3 a couple of years a go https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/protector-of-the-hidden-realm/2848283//1350/.
The mermaid tail is Waternymph by Smay, the outfit is a combo of Medusa V4 by Lady Littlefox/Sarsa, and Martian Princess by Garee, both modded with my own shagreen and poa shell mats with added emissives. Mitsu hair and EmmaAndJordi dangling circlets also on DAZ. The little Euprymna bobtail squid is a photo by David Slater projected onto a primitive to make a static prop.

This came out VERY well...best time to experience bioluminescence is on a moonless night...in tropical waters, but please don't go out too far (creepy critters come out at night), but just enough so you can dunk your self in the water and then quickly rise out of the water so that beads of "lighted" water rolling off your body can be seen...

The Mediterranean in autumn can be good too, as the water's still warm. I don't mind the creepy critters... i used to go looking for octopi on night dives :)

Beautiful work, Joe. I love the mysterious feel of this, and the camera angle once again (as with several of your works) is just as much a character here as the mermaid herself. Wonderfully done. :)
