I don’t know how to explain it. The Grey place seems so uninviting . . . and yet, I was drawn there. It spoke to me.
I buried a secret there, something of myself. A treasure. I left it behind when I had to leave. It was the only way to preserve it, to keep it safe.
The Shaman knows my secret, and made me promise to come back.
I promised. But life, here - and things - so many things - happened. I never made it back.
Now, the sun is growing dim here. I have to make it back. I have to make it back before it is too late . . .

Wonderful story behind this image and another beautiful realization. :) Grey is kind of a promise too, when you think of it... a sort of blank canvas, a place to write your own story, to set your own tone. So many layers here. :)
