Beautiful work here on all the details and all the many layers. It feels almost like you're looking through a kaleidoscope, even though it's not at all abstract. A lof of thought went into this and it shows. :)

You're doing more and more mind-bending pieces, explorations of mythic realms and imaginary lands...I love this: It's like tunnels inside of tunnels; and instead of seeing venice everywhere, we see imaginary worlds with open forests and mists and stars...I love the way you take the curves of the gondolas and repeat them in the tunnel openings and in the ropes, etc. Then, a lone woman standing on a gondola, inside one of the tunnels, as she looks into a deeeeep red sky...mysterious and very inviting. Great work on this, Steve, and the water feels as much like an ocean as like a canal. Beautiful concept and realization.
