Description
(a zoo near home...)
Hi everyone!
I commented on many of you last night. I'll finish the rest tomorrow.
I'll be signing legal papers this week, and getting some physical therapy. And finishing some work. My dedis are late, but I'll finish them soon, promise! My sister's cancer is manageable, but she's also had depression for a while, which makes things more difficult for her. So I've been away from comments and uploads for a while. But it's always great to visit you all, however I can. And I see uploads every day.
So, a hello from a friendly kangaroo---hope you're all safe and healthy! You know, I'd love to wake up and see animals---squirrels, birds, insects---in masks. And gloves. And keeping social distance. Hell, even clouds could keep social distance. Why not. A show of solidarity. (The sun could pop-in on Zoom...) I'll finish comments tomorrow: Take care everyone: peace, health and the best of spirits to you all, mark

Amazing !

Three kangaroos, two are more interested in food than anything else... unless the third one is, too (look at those eyes!)... maybe you should run.
I'm thinking good thoughts for your sister, I hope she does well. Paperwork of all kinds is a chore, I'm glad I got my will drawn up before this virus hit, everything is much more stressful these days. Take care, stay safe and be well, Mark!

Ohhh, did they life down under? 😉 they are looking so fluffy and tender - and I like the toning, little brown and it seems they have a lovely place to be at this zoo. - all my best wishes to you and yours and don't care about any birthdays or other things, its real not important to me and you have other things to do! stay health and have a good time! best p.

Wonderful capture and PW of this lucky trio, Mark -- they have no idea what happened to their cousins down under...kangaroos are amazing, especially how the female holds that extra embryo in her reproductive system...I could go for a day at the zoo right about now...
Life has handed you a bucket load of weighty "stuff" to handle at a time when so many other horrific things are currently weighing us down...but, I am happy to know your sister's cancer is manageable, certainly depressing, but at least there's that light at the end of the tunnel...and please, please don't worry about my birthday dedi, OK? It should be the very last thing about which you should be worrying.
Stay safe, Mark, and far away from the selfish jerks who don't seem to care about others around them...

I always think of the Godfather when I see a kangaroo. Take care of yourself and your family, don't worry about comments.

The people in my dreams are complaining I am not wearing a mask in my dreams! Now your kangaroo has seen me too, here without one again. Oh dear!
You sound a bit relieved about your sister, so I am too. - Love your kangaroos, even if they disapprove of me, or the Dream me. 😁. And I always feel so privileged to receive your time and lovely comments.

Beautiful scene - the postwork adds a lot of interest to it.

A peek-a-boo 'roo! I love it - very cool photo, Mark! Looks like he's thinking about how much to charge for a model release.. LOL
Prayers and healing thoughts for both you and your sister, buddy! It's got to be tough dealing with that on top of all the insanity currently swirling about.. Had to stop by the bank today to turn in a bunch of coins (trying to help out with the coin shortage...), and I have to tell you... I find it just a bit disconcerting to be putting on a mask as I get ready to enter a bank.... Matt Dillon used to shoot people for that... 🤣
Stay safe, buddy!

I fully understand her depression. As I just learned that I have a staph infection in my bladder. I wish the best for your sister. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your sister.
Take care of yourself and your sister.

Okay, Mark, I'm still around and hanging on for dear life. Ditto on the above comments, I would do more but am burdened with tons of email and health problems. As for depression, happy that your sister is holding her own, and as for depression, I've been there, done that. Among other things, such as growing old, I get depressed and anxious when any heath problem doesn't heal. But I digress. Great color, detail and ambience on the kangaroos depicted above. Tie me kangaroo down, sport Tie me kangaroo down Tie me kangaroo down, sport Tie me kangaroo down

Fun you have a Zoo near your home. If just you could go there and not be too close to people. So sweet Kangaroos. They seem to be pretty comfortable there. Hope your sister will be well soon.
