From the thumb, I thought the gray guy was a turtle. And opening up the image with the big rock in the background, he still could be mistaken for one. Set up for a turtle and hare boat race? Yeah, I know. Dumb idea. Great image! Most delightful work.
I think For is supposed to be some kind of lizard, but he could probably "play" a turtle, given the right shell! Hmm, if a turtle and a hare were to race in paper boats, maybe the outcome wouldn't be quite so predictable! :-) Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment! I love the idea that they're "real" looking, because of course to me they ARE real (even if it's just in my imagination)! I'd been wanting to use the Enchanted Pond set for ages, and I'm glad it worked out so well for these guys :-)
