Description
I finally got around to finishing this--I made the stream bed in Wings and it was a hot mess.But I painted over a lot of it :D That is Ken's Western Frog from Hivewire, and some Traveller cattails.

Ooops, too close... This looks very natural, like a real place, and that's hard to do.

Looks like the frog's about to eat well! But I couldn't help but look for signs of a predator that might eat the frog! (Glad I couldn't find one...). Beautiful stream, regardless of how you made it!

Great job with the stream bed! I tried Wings a few years ago, never had much success with it, but maybe I just didn't try hard enough..
Wings is good for hard boxy shapes, but I have been having better luck in hexagon for the kind of curvy organics I really want to model! I will say that Wings is super stable, which is a big plus :D
