Once again you set up a story line for us, and in mostly dark interior images, with all men, and a clear reference to the many bozos in government. (I like the hidden "trump" reference in image 3---Barb picked that up immediately.) We've heard from W. Slickie before. (And I love your names...Joey Vokk, William Slickie, V'Soth...I don't know where you get these names, but they sound great.)

Your lighting suggests clandestine and sinister backstories: The jail images are particularly dark and sinister, and your iron bars look like they've been carved or dented in many places, or just rusted out. The two released convicts look fierce---more than the guards, in fact. (I wouldn't wanna piss those convicts off.) You conveyed, in those frames, how creepy they are, and that they're no doubt gonna play a role in your coming pages. This feels very "behind the scenes" in its lighting, composition, and feel. And the top shot is doused in an overcast, creepy feeling. Really well done, Rod, you're setting the tone all over the place in your recent pieces, and they're potent, and getting us ready for some major detective work and action. (Even the government stationery looks like it took time to construct. You never skimp on details...)

I saw that - the one where Joey slaps Ar on the butt... He's lucky he still has that arm! 😆 And the names... Well.. Joey's last name was actually inspired by "Doc" Renecyberdoc.." And Will Slickie is obviously a takeoff... 🤣 The others I pretty much just pulled out of my......uh.....Hat! Yeah, that's the ticket... Out of my hat! 🤣 The top image is a photo from my first drone, several years ago. That building in the foreground is gone now..

Yay! Been looking forward to this installment--looks like this chapter is going to be another humdinger :) Know what you mean about motivation taking a dive--been trying to be positive about this mess but my energy level has certainly dropped over the weeks--doesn't help with all the crap flowing out of DC...will be interesting to see how many folks actually take advantage of this "opening up" venture of some states. I predict it won't be so enthusiastically greeted by the public as some pols want. Stay safe...
