Description
I did this originally to see how the purse scaled after I put it in the library, and pulled it back out. It's the right size now, and comes in correctly. I just need to make it a few more textures, and fix that bit of stretching around the edges. The setting is Applejack's Sun Room with some new textures--it's a fun set and has some really nice modelling in it as well.
Poor La Femme sitting there reminded me of when I was looking for work in LA in the 1980's--you'd get up in the morning and it would be 50 degrees, so you would put on your one professional outfit, and then after 3 interviews it would be 2 PM and 85 degrees outside, and you would be sitting there trying not to sweat in pantyhose and wool, and not touch your face and smear your makeup. And the one honest answer to "Why do you want this (soul crushing, pointless) job" is "I need rent and groceries" and of course you can't say that. Needless to say I was not good at getting office jobs until I signed up with a temp agency, where they just needed bodies --and one's lack of makeup, office speak and good clothes did not matter.
I also realized just* today* that I am really good at selling my ability to do a specific project, but terrible at projecting competence at vague goals and being a generic team player, which is why I have been a gig economy worker all my life.
Also I am glad to be an old and not have to wear either makeup or pantyhose ever again.

Oh, I remember those days all too well... And yeah... That question... "Why do you want this job?" So many times I sooooo much wanted to say "Why the @$#%#$% do you THINK I want this job? So I don't freakin' starve while sleeping under a bridge..." I'm so glad I'm retired now! LOL
It's the worst--like auditioning for an acting role that you really didn't get any info on ;) And thank you too!
Yeah, she looks less than enthused. I personally always hated the "Why do you want this job" question. I want this job so I can pay rent and eat. I like that kinda thing" I was never good at vague things either. I was also better at temp jobs, where a body was needed. I usually impressed when I was there.
Luckily, I never had to wear pantyhose!

Yes, Applejack do make some groovy looking sets. I need to use them more. And that is def not my Granny's handbag!
Applejack's sets are fun--they are easy to retexture and move around, too--very versatile! And thank you!

Super fun image and narrative.... Panty hose were never fun, but the dress code required girls to wear them to school.... and would not reimburse for the damage caused by welding sparks in shop class!
Oh my panty hose while welding :o I (when I was in an office) started wearing boots and longer skirts to hide the fact I was boycotting the damn things! They always crawled down and bagged around my ankles!

Great scene! Her body language and expression capture the feeling you describe, of being somewhat uncomfortable as she waits for yet another interview and not at all sure she can pull off another "happy face"! The purse looks great too!
