Beautiful.
Thanks very much, Graphixa!
Wonderful presentation and great texture work. I think I might change the diffuse color of the lady's dress to either a brighter white or a pastel green or blue or maybe pink. As it is, the dress acts like camo against the building materials. After all, the lady IS the centerpiece for the image, so she should stand out and not get lost in all the busy texture surrounding her. Just a thought (small chuckle).
Thanks for your comment, Greywolf44, and thanks also for the suggestion regarding the colour of her dress.
It's a very good point, and I'll have to experiment with that later today.
Most outstanding work. Has so much realism in it.
Thanks, eekdog!
Very much appreciated!
I love this
Thanks very much, Digital_Dames!

I am saddened not to have seen a comment from you on my last picture « Bye bye Kordouane », I would have so much appreciated a gesture of sympathy from all my contacts.
Thanks very much, kordouane!
Please accept my apologies for not commenting on your last image - I'm very sorry to hear about the problems you are having with your eyesight. I will definitely miss seeing your lovely artwork, and I hope you will be able to return here at some point in the future.
Love your clothing texture matching the stonework......or is it marble
Thanks very much, longprong!
I'm really not sure myself if the textures included with this set are intended to be stonework or marble - but we are on the same page in terms of choosing the clothing to match the colour of the structure!
romantic
Thanks very much, bucyjoe!
OMG !!! I almost fell out of my hi-chair when I saw your name attached to this image, Blue :-D
Greywolf (as usual) makes a good point although I see where you were going with this re: longprong's comment. But I'll take it if this marks the start of PhthaloBlue again contributing his enormous skills. We will all benefit and learn from it. Excellent setting. I have this set and never 'saw' that position. Beautiful pose and an adorable expression. Nice subtle touch with the lighting that illuminates without calling attention to itself.
And your inclusion of dForce (especially the hair) shows you have definitely been paying attention!
Oh, I'm so excited !! :-)
WOW!
Heart-felt thanks for your very kind comment, Rtesian!
This really looks like a photo...it's brilliant.
Thanks for your comment, gaius! It's much appreciated!
excellent
Thanks very much, Tracesl!
I think I like the blue better, both rocks!
Thanks for the visit, Richard!
Your comment is much appreciated!
both lovely!
Thanks for visiting, jmattatall!
Glad you liked them!
Not that I've inspected both versions, I must say I HIGHLY prefer this one. Your first instincts were correct. The second version is fine, but this one is more visually interesting. The colours and textures ground the image in a more substantive way. This is superb. 5+++++
Thank you so much for your comments - I really appreciate hearing your opinion about this image!
I'm glad you mentioned the colours and textures grounding this image, because I wanted the design and colour of the dress to complement the design at the base of the two columns - one beside the model, and one next to the door.
I love it a lot !!!
nice one
Thanks very much, giareg!
Beautiful!
Thank you so much, anitalee!
I like the subdued whites also
Excellent.
Thanks very much, ikke.evc!
Somehow, I missed this but it is just as beautiful as the one with blue material!
Thank you so much, STEVIEUKWONDER!
She's a very hot lady!
Incredible render - beautiful!!!
Yup, I like this one a bit better, call me weird. The dress looks like it popped out of the pillar behind her. Maybe she's a Building Nymph? Do they even have those?
beautiful integration on photo, the model is very sensual
Thanks very much, dakotajaroo!
this dress color is great too !
Thanks so much, virginiese!
I appreciate Greywolf44's suggestions, and I see you tried them out with real visual success. For me, however, as one who has no experience in 3D (I come from 2D and photography), I think this is perfect. The similarity in tone between her dress and the surrounding is just right, to me; as well as similar patterns (ie, the florid patterns on the column behind her---and on the wall in front of her---both having something in common with the lace pattern of her dress). She's part of her setting---a quiet, introspective setting. If this were a photo, one would say you captured a real mood...and your quiet, green-tinted light makes this almost melancholy. It's as if she were lost in herself, when we called out to her; and she looked up suddenly and acknowledged us. (We assume she'll go back to her previous mood as soon as we disappear.) That's how it feels to me, at least. (The "decisive moment" of a photograph.) And your composition is intuitive too: ie, the columns harmonize with her vertical stance; while her angle (body and legs) give a graceful human touch to your image. A beautifully conceived, quiet mood piece, and very photographic. You have a definite painter's and photographer's eye...
Fantastic outfit and use of color!!
Thanks very much, DustRider!
Excellent!
Thanks so much, shadownet!
Lovely!
