Description

the over day when I was walking Bodie I found two wallets (only one had ID's). I was able to get the address of the owner of one of the wallets. I left a note on his mailbox to call me. he called today and I met him to return is belongings. he told me that a group of thugs beat him on that morning and took his phone and his wallet in the middle of a street. his wife was inside of their pickup. he had to go to the emergency room for some first aid. he was very thankful. the thief's ran up $800.00 on his credit card . the other wallet had nothing there with all the stuff belonging to the man I helped makes one think about just how dangerous it is anywhere and everywhere

hmm, that reminds me of the time I left my wallet on the top of my car in the middle of Tokyo, as I was distracted by the kids arguing, no money in it, but essential ID and cards, returned fifteen minutes later and it was still there... amazing sky capture, like the end of days, which seems to be edging closer :)

Great capture, Richard. It does feel like Judgement Day.

Some years back I found a wallet and other notes in one of the plantings outside my store. I turned them in to our lead cashier and the owner came for them later. He might have been mugged like the guy you helped, I never did find out.

These are strange days indeed.
