This is wonderful, Steve...really do like that you chose to do it in monochrome which really adds to the Gothic theme.
I have a feeling she will be safe no matter what part of the woods she travels. I think the Wolf should be careful if she gets too close. Marvelous!

Beautifully done! The background definitely sets the mood and feel for the image, perfect!
I've heard of a "through the woods" video game, but I don't know much else. But whatever this may refer to, the image is beautiful and mysterious. I love your hues: Black, with a pink-tinged sepia. It's luminous, in fact. And your model emerges out of this forest with great presence and dignity. And a great pose, and wonderful bright light---to contrast all that black (which you drape on her very artistically). The background is awash in a mist, and there appears to be some kind of structure back there, like a castle. (It could just be a tree stump...) Her pose is as if she were posing for a photographer, with her head looking away, as her body faces us. There's a quiet 'rose gold' feeling to this. And the mystery of the forest beckons all over the piece. I saw reference to a wolf, above: If there's a wolf in this story, I don't know the story. But I agree with teri that this woman would hold her own against anything that came her way. Beautiful, and with beautiful light.
