And now you go back to the Middle Ages...At first I thought this dark stranger was a man. But now I wonder if she's not a woman. Either way, he/she appears to have come back from a terrible journey (maybe a war), and he's veiled and injured, and probably hurt internally too (emotionally, spiritually). The concerned woman---who is much healthier, and more 'whole'---is comforting and consoling the stranger, with gentle, delicate gestures. She has more light on her, and wears a beautiful long gown. The background is clearly a medieval castle, with those old Romanesque arches and dark fireplace (with cobwebs) and roseate carvings on the wall, etc. The candelabra seems to be the only source of light, and it lights the woman beautifully. Mysterious and poignant: We don't know what's happened to this sojourner, but we know the woman will care for the sojourner, and perhaps bring healing. Very sensitively done, Ute.
