Description
This is not a comment on current events. I have a backlog of several weeks worth of pictures which I post in the order I create them, so it's just a coincidence that this picture is up for this week.
This is, of course, a U. S. Army Air Force B-17G from World War II. The plane here is not the greatest mesh. After I rendered it, I had to do a significant amount of work in Photoshop Elements to get it looking right, particularly with regards to the chin turret, which is much too big on the model. For the bombardier I retextured a Japanese uniform, and I think it came out looking all right for a distant figure.
I hope you'll all enjoy this look back at history.

I was fortunate to have walked through a B17 that is air worthy and flies around the USA. very narrow passage through bomb bay area.
