"Hi, there! My name is Sprout, and I have an assignment from Her Majesty, Queen Zlata the Gentle. Since Kinnie is on another assignment, the Queen wants me to study the Human World from a close-up perspective. I'm trying to fit in so I can better complete my task.
I really like some of the things humans wear, and I'm almost used to walking in these funny shoes, but the hardest part is keeping my ears covered by my hair. Humans seem fascinated by them, but they all think I'm doing some kind of strange human activity - they call it "coz - play" or something like that. Well, if they want to think that, it's okay with me! It helps me do my job.
Humans are curious beings. They can be kind, and fun, and very clever. They seem to be very smart in a lot of ways. But they are also very puzzling, and sometimes terrible and scary. A lot of them seem to not care about the beauty of their world, or about the other creatures that they live with.
They create beauty, they love, they show kindness to each other, and to other creatures that are suffering. And yet, at the same time, they can be very mean, cruel, and destructive. They can sing lovely songs and write beautiful music. But they can also create 'music' full of hate and violence. They can create beautiful pictures, and at the same time they can destroy entire forests.
I get very confused by them. I can see this is going to be a very long and confusing study...."
Well, I was just going to write a couple sentences, but then THIS flowed out...
I just HAD to pick up Sprout during one of these sales - she's so adorable... She loves her clothes - Modern Lace top and shoes, and the free leggings, both by my pal Jenny (Pixeluna) over at DAZ.
Saw my Dentist today - got an X-ray of the troublesome tooth, and as soon as he saw the X-ray, he said "That's gotta come out!" So, I'm scheduled for next Thursday to have it yanked. If my head doesn't explode before then.
Going with a long-time friend tomorrow to see Star Wars - pain or no.. LOL
Am I seeing a (good) trend? I've seen several wonderful folks returning to the galleries lately! I hope that trend continues!

Good luck with the tooth. I always have some ‚paracetamol‘ in my drawer for things like tooth pain (everything else useless with me).
I just saw ‚rogue one’ which was ok and ‚episode VII’ (which was pretty average). So as a Star Wars fan of the first hours I couldn‘t convince my self yet to look the rest of the Disney crap.

first your message, then your art...I agree with what you wrote, and I gotta tell you, whenever I studied history, I was struck at how power brings out so much bad in the human race...power has a way...the big difference is that today we have weapons and technologies that enhance that power in ways no one dreamt of hundreds of years ago. In whole wars in 1500, there weren't as many losses as in one week of war in our century. I hope things improve, and I'm with you 100% about new leadership. It's hard to have faith when one's leader is a 13 year old schoolyard bully who talks---at huge rallies---like a mean teenager. Sprout would be better off not trying to fit in. Let her form her own colony, and hope that it spreads...
Love her outfit, and look, and pondering gaze, and her not-so hidden ears, lol. And earrings dangling off of them. Wonderful light on that beautiful green. And that painting behind her: Man, I don't know what it is, if it comes from an actual old painting, if you did it, if it came from 'dreamart' or what, but it feels like a ruin of an old masterpiece, and it feels like a reminder of what life once was, partly faded now, but pulling through all the same. It's got an old beauty all its own. Plus those curly-cue ornaments, all on a beautifully old decayed wall, with a sun painted on it. (The sun's like getting back to basic humanity...) It's a great background to Sprout and her pondering. A beautiful image to go along with your words. Hope you enjoyed SWars today, and good luck on Thursday! NO, Why the need to fit in, we are all individuals, if we were all the same life would be boring and repetitive.....hope that troublesome tooth dosen't give you to much pain from now until its pulled....enjoy Starwas....it will give you something to think about, and possible have you wondering.......
