"Hi, there! My name is Sprout, and I have an assignment from Her Majesty, Queen Zlata the Gentle. Since Kinnie is on another assignment, the Queen wants me to study the Human World from a close-up perspective. I'm trying to fit in so I can better complete my task. I really like some of the things humans wear, and I'm almost used to walking in these funny shoes, but the hardest part is keeping my ears covered by my hair. Humans seem fascinated by them, but they all think I'm doing some kind of strange human activity - they call it "coz - play" or something like that. Well, if they want to think that, it's okay with me! It helps me do my job. Humans are curious beings. They can be kind, and fun, and very clever. They seem to be very smart in a lot of ways. But they are also very puzzling, and sometimes terrible and scary. A lot of them seem to not care about the beauty of their world, or about the other creatures that they live with. They create beauty, they love, they show kindness to each other, and to other creatures that are suffering. And yet, at the same time, they can be very mean, cruel, and destructive. They can sing lovely songs and write beautiful music. But they can also create 'music' full of hate and violence. They can create beautiful pictures, and at the same time they can destroy entire forests. I get very confused by them. I can see this is going to be a very long and confusing study...." Well, I was just going to write a couple sentences, but then THIS flowed out... I just HAD to pick up Sprout during one of these sales - she's so adorable... She loves her clothes - Modern Lace top and shoes, and the free leggings, both by my pal Jenny (Pixeluna) over at DAZ. Saw my Dentist today - got an X-ray of the troublesome tooth, and as soon as he saw the X-ray, he said "That's gotta come out!" So, I'm scheduled for next Thursday to have it yanked. If my head doesn't explode before then. Going with a long-time friend tomorrow to see Star Wars - pain or no.. LOL Am I seeing a (good) trend? I've seen several wonderful folks returning to the galleries lately! I hope that trend continues!
