Yes, "elegant" is a good word for this...these shapes seem like the finest silk, billowing into space, with golden light inside. These shapes also look like flames, but not hot flames. Beautiful silky billows and furrows, and you have stars all around them, and that deep blueish/slate green surrounding. (Green and pink are opposite colors on the color wheel, so they're contrasts---they create 'light' when we see them together.) (complementary colors/complementaire kleur?) A big silky, luxurious dance of scarves. And your golden yellow lights are beautiful.
