Mega snow falling today, cleaned about 5 inches of my car, ground has about 3-4 inches. Very unusual for this much snow in October. Been at least 20 years since we've had this amount. Bet we are in for a harsh winter this year.

in addition to being creepy (in a halloween way), this is also very nostalgic. It feels like a room that several generations have lived in. Your model is dressed in stunning blacks, and you've lit her in an eerie greenish white, as if she were a spirit of the dead. You use reds to break the black and whites, and they look great (in the chair and in the roses). And I love the portraits---incl a skeleton that's breaking out of his painting, and another of your "painting-within-a-painting" images, where you have this image in miniature on the wall. Love when you do that. And a dog-like creature, and skulls---great skull lamps too. Lots of imagination here, and your usual fine color coordination, etc. Fine piece, Steve...as always.
