Late Rocker Ronnie James Dio had a lp called Heaven and Hell which had a few angels smoking when he was with Black Sabbath. This is my remake version.

When you posted this a few days back, I was really excited, because I know that album cover---it was painted by Lynn Curlee (real name; and "Lynn" is a male), who has done wonderful illustration, and is very creative. (He writes now.) That was a terrific album cover---of angels just 'relaxing', taking a break (and playing cards). You did a wonderful 3D version of it, with two angels rather than 3---I assume to get the heaven and hell in their 'truce'. And they're just sitting on stools, in a cigarette break, and schmoozing, smoking marlboros, w/ their swords of justice just tossed to the floor (and they're probably happy to get rid of them for a moment, like a police man or woman taking off their gun. Great job with the costumes as always, and you did deep reds for the 'darker' angel, and sky blues for the lighter angel (with pink tones). The darker one looks like a bat too, which is perfect. I love the butts on the floor, with the ciggie box next to it (a few commenters mentioned this), and those stools...and the blue angel is holding a modern lighter---great little touches here, Steve! Your details are terrific. You did a terrific version of the Curlee original, and it's a delight in its own right. Love it.
