Description

Mill cavier The cavier mill is a windmill characteristic in Anjou, especially in the Saumur region. It is composed of a mobile body called a hucherolle, supporting the wings and containing only the movement's return mechanism. The hucherolle rests on a conical masonry built above a cellar - sometimes troglodytic -, inside which are the grinding devices, which explains the name of cavier mill.
