Just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive and kicking - and just to prove it, I've uploaded the latest in nuttiness from Rod's Lair: the latest Behind The Scenes!
I just wanted to wish our pal Dan - AKA Diemamker - a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm sure Ranpha, Trish, and Rico will keep you entertained. All 20 or so of you.... LOL
I am slowly getting back into the groove with the T.N.A. story, and a few related surprises as well. I'm slowed down a bit without the Cintique (I'll be getting it repaired), but still am able to create them. And the good news is that my Muse is awakening again, so stay tuned!

A sweet gift, Rod, and a pop-out pinup. My roommate in college used to say, about women like this, "they weren't put on this earth for my good!" (He said, "she'd go out with me like she'd go out with a lizard". Poor guy. He was popular too...) Love the yellow and red too, and great light. (And holding a single firecracker.) And you have a little bit of tree at the bottom too....a terrifically lit, night dedi for Dan, who I've heard of many times in the 3D galleries. And for Ind Day. Happy 4th, Rod, and may it bring a turnaround in your life! (And may the booms and bangs out your window stop soon. It's that way here too.) I'll finish your video soon. (Do you know how good it is to know that there's someone on earth as bald as I am? That may not thrill you, but as Larry David said, "we bald men have to stick together". He considers people who shave their head to be fakes and charlatans...)

Wow, Betsy Ross has come a long way since 1776 if this outstanding 4th of July greeting is of any testimony! Terrific detail, lighting and overall composition. I'm a day late with this, I also had big booms and bangs from mostly illegal fireworks yesterday, plus a 6.4 scale earthquake up north not far from home. In any event, a belated Happy Fourth of July!

Amazing the places they can find to hide in. I sure couldn't find any of them and my house isn't that big. LOL. Sweet render Rod. This brings back a lot of memories of when I used to play with firecrackers. Had my share of close calls with them exploding right in the hand, Luckily never got injured. Glad to hear about the Cintiq is getting repaired. Once you are used to it, it is hard to live without.
Indeed.... I sooooooo miss using it. I tried to paint on my laptop screen last night, instead of on the Intuous… GAAAH...
She puts me in mind of the drag racing queen, Jungle Pam.
